How does Cut-Tex® PRO compare with Kevlar®?
Most Kevlar® lined cut resistant garments offer a ISO 13997:1999 blade cut resistance level 2 and in very rare occasions level 3, which does not seem to be very high on a scale of 1 to 5. Cut-Tex® PRO fabric as a stand alone fabric offers the highest cut resistance level 5, which makes it the strongest cut resistant textile out there.

Cut-Tex® PRO is manufactured at a 'top secret' manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom, under strict ISO 9001:2008 quality standard control.
Who owns the registered trademark and copyright for Cut-Tex® PRO?
Cut-Tex®, and all associated names and brands are all registered trademarks owned by PPSS Group in the United Kingdom.
Is Cut-Tex® PRO cut resistant fabric available as raw fabric?
Yes, Cut-Tex® PRO raw fabric is available from PPSS Group only.
Is Cut-Tex® PRO machine washable?
Yes. 'Stability to washing and appearance assessment' tests confirmed Cut-Tex® PRO can be washed at 40° degrees and also 60° degrees, in order to fight infection and cross contamination.
Is Cut-Tex® PRO offering bite resistance?
Cut-Tex® PRO stops human teeth from penetrating another person's skin. However, in order to stop potentially painful bruising additional and more rigid materials (e.g. ultra thin plastic or leather) can be used to increase the bite protection level.
Can Cut-Tex® PRO be worn against your skin?
Yes, without any problems. However some customers might prefer cut resistant garments with an inner layer of Coolmax® to further improve comfort, and effectively deal with body heat and moisture management.
